The Amane story has been well constructed and held my interest. The fantasy is fully conceived and pulls the reader into the world and the characters. I did feel the two main characters were somewhat too good...but not excessively so and the story is strong enough to consider that a small defect.Fully enjoyable to anyone who likes dragons, fantasy or romances with female protagonists who are not only strong, but feminine without being frilly feminine.

I enjoy the fantasy dragon genre. Great escape and really can get into the characters. Want to know what happens next fun read
Loved this series.
Avery good book a lot of action.Well developed and moves well.
I still enjoyed this book. I just liked the first one better. I will be reading the third book just to see what happens next.
Just as good as the first one, except this time it only took 3 hours. So 7 hours of dragons today, if that doesn't make want to read this series, you aren't a dragon/adventure/romance type. Which means you are dull.
I really enjoy adventure stories that combine fantasy with a little romance. The relationship between Amane and her dragon is fascinating. The book is filled with believable characters and the plot doesn't drag. It is a really fun read. I can hardly wait to read the third book in the series.
Loved Book 1 and now Book 2 is just as great.. Terrific interesting story - wonderful characters. Believe me you will not want to put this book down until it's finished. and it leaves you wanting more. It's on to #3 for me!
